In 2022, a modern campsite on the Great Plöner See offers 50 spacious places for mobile homes. Each place is equipped with satellite, electricity, fresh water tap, and gray water drain. The campsite features a bathing beach, a separate dog beach, a small bar, and a snack bar. Modern sanitary facilities are available, and all pitches have access to green electricity, water, sewage, and satellite connection. WiFi is available throughout the site, and there is direct access to the lake for swimming and paddling. The campsite also has a motorhome port that is accessible at any time. Dogs are allowed, and there is a playground by the lake. The site has recently been planted, so there is limited shade.
A beautiful campsite located right by the water. The service was excellent, with the staff being the best. We had a breakdown with our newly purchased motorhome, but they allowed us to stay on the site. We were able to leave it there until the ADAC could tow it away. Couldn't have asked for anything better. We'll definitely be coming back, promised.
We have visited this place about six times now and we are very satisfied. The staff members are friendly and helpful, whether it's inside or outside the barrier. There may be some construction work, but that is made clear beforehand. The water is of excellent quality and the showers are just as good as those in a regular washroom. There is no need to complain about minor issues. Check it out beforehand and if you don't like it, you can continue your journey. Overall, this place is excellent.
