There is a paid motorhome area in the town of Hameln, which is known for the famous tale of the Grimm brothers' rat charmer. The town has beautiful medieval buildings and the motorhome area is practical and quiet. The old center of the town can be easily accessed by foot along the Weser River, which takes approximately 15 minutes. There is also an Addac terminal available.
The location is not great, with a strange atmosphere. It can get quite noisy from around 6 AM during weekdays. However, it is sufficient for getting to the city. The waste disposal facilities are outdated, and there is no real view of the Weser River. The freshwater supply had a slightly musty smell, which may or may not be related.
