There is a serene and peaceful spot by the Rhône river with trees providing shade. The pathway is safe to walk on, and it is a great place for parking a van due to the low height of the trees. You can easily reach this spot either through the nautical base of Serrières-de-Briord or by following the pathway from Villebois. Avoid taking the shortest route.
The road is very bumpy and muddy. It is necessary to have a higher vehicle to pass through. Be cautious of the GPS directions as there may be an alternative access point. The location is popular among fishermen, but not ideal for a peaceful nap.
Access to the peaceful riverside spot on the Rhône is challenging due to deep grooves in the road. Large rocks have been placed to restrict entry, although high vehicles can still navigate the area. See attached photo.
