Welcome to Kultahiekka Caravan! It is a wonderful place with excellent service and even a cozy pub on site.
We arrived shortly before 8:00 PM. The reception was very welcoming, and they provided us with all the necessary information. The showers and toilets were clean and in good condition. There were also washing machines and dryers available, as well as a sauna in the reception area. Despite being close to the road, it was pleasantly quiet.
This place offers friendly and easy service, it is peaceful and has very clean facilities. There are 5 parking spaces for guests, priced at 31 Euro (for a van with 2 adults and electricity). They have a small pub with a terrace, where you can enjoy a relaxed atmosphere, and there is also a nice barbecue hut. They have a sauna in the reception building/pub area, as well as a beach sauna by the lake, although we didn't try them. Overall, we highly recommend this place for those who want to get away from the busy crowds.
The majority of campers at this location are long-term campers, with only a few designated gravel spots for motorhomes near the buildings. The reception was friendly and the facilities were basic. It can be quite noisy due to the nearby road, as evidenced by a passing car at 5:45 am. However, there are no hiking trails or other activities available. We paid €26 with a camping card discount.
