Zeltplatz-Mattli is a small campsite near the Dammagletscher glacier. It offers a friendly atmosphere but has no convenience store. A nearby lake is available for adventurous visitors, but wild camping is not allowed in the valley and may result in fines.
Good for a one-night stay with a nice view. However, there's no electricity or hot water at the location. Showers require a 400-meter walk to a nearby restaurant. Overall, it was a suitable experience for us, costing 20 CHF for one van and two people.
The campsite is in the mountains and offers a great view with sounds of cowbells. It is accessible via a well-maintained but narrow road. Watch out for cyclists and buses. The cost for two people and a camper van is €21, without electricity or Wi-Fi. We didn't use the restroom facilities.
