There is a great view of the lake and dam. The area is calm and spacious. We also saw many marmots while we were there.

There is a flat area for parking several vehicles near the Toules dam in Switzerland, accessible via a dirt road from Bourg-Saint-Pierre. It is next to a hiking trail and may have livestock during certain seasons. The location is very quiet.

This is a beautiful, calm spot in the grass. The gravel road to get there is a bit bumpy but manageable with a van. The only noise was from the wind. It’s great for an overnight stay.
