The campsite is open for camping, but facilities like showers and water are unavailable outside of opening hours. There is a small pitch on a meadow near the port. The campsite has toilets, showers, and a lounge with basic kitchen appliances. The lounge also has a dining table, chairs, and a sofa for campers to use. Information and magazines are provided in German, English, and Swedish. The campsite has 15 pitches with electricity and 5 places for guest boats with electricity. WiFi is currently being improved. There are three barbecue areas with benches and tables by the lake, one of which is covered. The campsite is a peaceful place for rest and relaxation. Fishing is allowed for free throughout the port, and there is a small beach nearby. Additional barbecue facilities and benches are available on the beach. More information can be found on the campsite's website. Inquiries can be made through email in German, Swedish, and English. Payment can be made in euros, but card payment is not accepted. Fees should be put in the gray cash register. There is a night watch on the campsite, except during the summer break. The groundskeeper can be reached by phone for any inquiries in German, Swedish, and English. Dogs are welcome at the campsite. The nearest shops can be found in the neighboring towns of Götne or Marienstad. Fresh fish can also be bought from the local fisherman on the square.
The parking space we stayed at for one night was okay. It was quiet, but the bathroom facilities (2 showers and 2 toilets) were very old and dirty, some even had mold. The kitchen also had the same impression. On the positive side, there was a nice walk along the harbor. Overall, there are definitely nicer places to stay for 200kr.
This cozy and peaceful parking spot is located near a marina. It offers electricity, as well as access to an older shower and toilet facility. There is also a place for emptying chemical toilets, drinking water, and a grill area available. The cost is 180 Skr or 18€.
