Privatland

Warm welcome from the two brothers of the vineyard, and it's completely free! They offer excellent organic wines and sparkling wines from Alsace. There are two spots with electricity and water in the concrete courtyard of the winery, and 7-8 spots without services. Bergheim has been voted the favorite village of the French in 2022! We are staying here for 2 nights to visit the beautiful Christmas markets nearby in Ribeauvillé, Tannenkirch, Riquewihr... which we can easily reach by bike.

After a short wine tasting and the option to buy a few bottles (but not required), we were led to the parking area. It is a little secluded, but it takes about 15 minutes to walk to the town. The parking area doesn't have facilities for waste disposal, but it is surrounded by greenery. You can hear a nearby road, but it didn't bother us much.
