This location is peaceful and near waterfalls. It may become crowded in warmer weather and on weekends. A 4x4 vehicle isn't required, but the road can get muddy after rain.
There is a meadow near the Lepida waterfall, which dries up in October. It offers a shaded spot under a tree. It is possible to camp here away from civilization, and the area is very peaceful. Access can be a bit time-consuming, but it is worth it if you enjoy hiking. We managed to reach the site even with a 2-wheel drive minivan. One drawback is that the sun disappears behind the tall mountains early in the evening.
