"Camping Park "High Wheel" is a welcoming campground that caters to both tourists and permanent campers. The atmosphere is peaceful and quiet, with designated rest times during the day and at night. The sanitary facilities, although old, are well-maintained and clean. Guests will need a key to access the toilets and showers. The campground offers limited Wi-Fi connectivity, but LTE is not available. A convenient bread service is available, and the lake's bathing area is just a short 2-minute walk away. There is also a kiosk on-site, but please note that only cash is accepted."
There is a parking space in front of the premises. The sanitary facilities are older but clean, with no time limit for showers. Everything is included, and the price for two people and a dog was 23 Euros on New Year's Eve 2019. The lakefront has sandy areas and is great for dogs. There is a beautiful view of the lake.
This is a beautiful parking space suitable for motorhomes. It should not be confused with the spaces directly along the road. There are additional spots owned by the city, located 100 meters past the campground, but they are not as nice. All necessary amenities are available here, except for gray water disposal. There is also a bread delivery service. Prices are €7.50 for motorhomes and €6.00 per adult. Due to COVID-19, it is necessary to call ahead before arrival. The owner may be a bit slow, but they are friendly.
