Great service area, a camping site really. There's a bus that can take you to the center of Taormina where you can visit the ancient theater. You can also take a nice walk to the Madonna della Rocca chapel through the Stations of the Cross path. From there, you can visit Castelmola by taking a small road that ends as a pedestrian pathway, and then return to Taormina taking another path to the right of the castle. It's about a 10 km walk in total.
We stopped here for one night but ended up staying for 19 days. The area was excellent and welcoming. The toilets and showers were cleaned every morning by Gino, who worked hard. Santos was there to greet us and made an effort to communicate in English. Overall, the service was excellent. The electricity cost 0.35 kW/h and there was a small meter provided. The city center of Taormina was only 400 meters away.
