The area is quiet, with a shepherd taking care of his animals and some fishermen visiting in the evening. When it's wet, the ground can become muddy and the area may get swampy.

There are many great locations in this area. If you drive north towards the river, you'll find a nice swimming hole. We chose to stay nearby instead, in a quiet spot with a lovely view of the hills and a monastery.
