The campsite is divided into three areas, with tent and motorhome pitches located directly behind the dune, about 20 meters from the beach. The reception can be found in a caravan and there are hammocks distributed throughout the area. A lounge with sockets for charging smartphones, showers, sinks, and toilets are located about 20 meters further away. There is also a large mobile home and caravan site further away from the beach. The site operator has built several beautiful huts that are mostly rented by locals. The toilets are outhouses with chimneys and forced ventilation. The sanitary facilities are cleaned several times a day, and the overall condition of the site is very good. The beaches in the Baltic States are known for being clean as visitors take their trash with them. There is a small shop about 5 kilometers before the entrance to the campsite where provisions can be stocked up on. The tap water at the campsite is filtered well water, but it is brown and has a strong iron smell. The site owner sells drinking water in 5-liter canisters. The beach is a short walk away and there are fruit trees along the way where visitors can enjoy mirabelle plums, pears, and apples. The beach is mostly deserted, with only a few people and dogs encountered during walks. Visitors often find themselves staying longer than planned, as the campsite offers a peaceful retreat.
This is a wonderful place to stay and enjoy a secluded beach. It is a small paradise with attentive management and lovely furnishings. Waste disposal is taken care of with a septic tank in the forest. There is no vehicle access, only reachable by foot. The new electricity charge is €3.50.
The place was beautiful, friendly, and well-equipped. We had a great time.
