The area offers a beautiful view of the rapids and is a peaceful place to stay overnight. There are plenty of parking spaces on both sides of the rapids, and there are no mosquitoes at the end of July.

There is a lovely picnic spot next to the largest manmade rapids in Finland. However, please note that there are no amenities available. During the summer, parking is allowed on the wet grass surface. There are parking areas on both sides of the river.
