The Star Inn in Valleymount, Co Wicklow is a charming and welcoming pub that offers a pleasant experience for visitors. The owner kindly allows motorhomes to park overnight in return for a pint, a meal, or even fresh eggs. It is situated in a tranquil setting near Blessing Lakes and close to the scenic Wicklow Mountains. We highly recommend a visit.
The park was lovely, but unfortunately, the pub was not open when we visited. We were disappointed because we had planned to visit a small local establishment. The locals in the area were quiet and polite, and the carpark was level and well-maintained.
There is a secluded area with a trash bin where a man in a pub kindly didn't mind us not ordering drinks. He even purchased six eggs for 2e. He mentioned that there is no need to buy anything and it would be enough to express our gratitude. It would be nice to visit and thank him.
