The area is known as a public rest area with a kiosk. During our visit, many short-term parkers came and went, using the facilities and walking to the lake.

There is a great camping spot that has all the necessary facilities for campers. It is small and pleasant, and while it is near a road, noise from traffic is not bothersome.

The area is quiet at night despite the nearby road. It is small but well-maintained by the owner, offering a beautiful view of the lake and sunset. We stayed an extra day, and the price is reasonable: 280 SEK for the motorhome including electricity.
