Kerstins Camping is a campground located in Mellerud, Dalsland. They offer different sizes of cabins and campsites for tents, caravans, and motor homes. The campsites are well-developed and spacious, with flat surfaces and clearly marked boundaries. Electricity is available on all plots with 220 volt power outlets. Adapters for different types of plugs can be purchased at the reception.

We had a cabin there for a day off from setting up and taking down tents. The bathrooms were nice and clean, but the cabin itself wasn't. There was no running water in the cabin, but we were able to use the group kitchen for free. There were no fly screens, which meant there were a lot of wasps and horseflies. Also, there was no shade on the porch, even though the sun was shining all day. However, if you bring your own sunshade and insect nets (like we did), you can make yourself comfortable. Hot showers were a bit expensive at 10 SEK, but cold showers were free.

We enjoyed our stay here! It's a lovely and simple campsite without any fancy extras. Perfect for a short stay of one or two days. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The small hiking trail behind the property was beautifully designed.
