Sarapisto camping area is a popular site for caravan owners. The campsite is well-kept and offers clean facilities. It is reasonably priced and has become one of our favorite spots during our tour. Additionally, the price includes access to a sauna, and there is the option to rent SUP boards at a low cost.
This is a lovely and well-maintained camping site with a tranquil atmosphere. It features a bathing lake, which provides a refreshing dip after a sauna session. Paddleboats and canoes can be rented for free, while SUPs are available at a small cost. On arrival, we could choose between a spacious pitch in an open area or in the pine forest, each with its own wooden terrace. We were delighted with our experience!
The description of the place is more positive than the reality. The sauna was unfortunately closed. The staff was very friendly. The spots are relatively small and the place is very dark due to the tall trees. The sanitary building with separate rooms for men, women, and families was clean. It is located far away from the main route to Helsinki, but suitable for a one-night stay.
