There is a clearing near the Loch for walking and launching kayaks. Be aware of mosquitoes, and open fires or BBQs are not allowed due to a nearby fire in 2020. The roads can be tough for vans, so drive slowly, especially if your van is tall.

The area offers a decent parking spot and has EE 5G signal. The Loch is nearby, with few people around, mainly kayakers. The gravel road has potholes, posing challenges for some vans. It’s good for dogs to swim due to shallow waters. Mosquito spray is recommended.
