This campsite offers all the necessary amenities and has a welcoming owner. It is conveniently located a 15-minute walk from the nearby village. While they do not offer a bread service, there is a delicious pizzeria on site with excellent service. Additionally, a German kitchen can be found a 10-minute walk away at the Waldschenke.
The camping site was average, but there were a few inconveniences. Firstly, the owner didn't speak English and only accepted cash payment. We were not given the option for electricity, as the owner repeatedly said "no". Additionally, we were provided a token for the shower, which seemed to have limited usage. We paid 24.90 for a night's stay with our camper van, no electricity, and one shower.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The campground has a mix of permanent and temporary spots for caravans, tents, and campervans. A short 4-minute walk down a sloping path with stairs leads to the reservoir. There is a large grassy area with plenty of trees, providing excellent shade from the sun.
