Located across from the old prison/open pit in Rummu, there is a scenic spot. The path leading to it may be rough and rocky, but experienced drivers who are comfortable with narrow passages and overgrown bushes should be able to manage it. It is advisable to exercise caution during heavy rainfall. As an example, we have successfully driven an almost 8-meter long WoMo weighing 4.5 tons.
The road had large potholes, and the parking area was flooded after rain, limiting available spots. I decided not to stay overnight due to predicted rain and concerns about getting stuck. While the area offered a nice view and clear water, there were no private bathroom facilities.
This location has clear lake water and beautiful sunsets. It is usually quiet during the week, with occasional local visitors. There are various camping spots along the lakeshore. There is good internet access, but no waste disposal services available.
