At the summit of Goljam Perelik, the highest peak in the Rhodopes, you can enjoy a great view. The road is paved for the first 4 kilometers and then becomes a track for the remaining 2 kilometers, but it is passable. We spotted a tank carrier on our way up. Due to the cold, we chose not to sleep there. The location is approximate but easy to find. Along the route, there are two beautiful and relatively flat areas, which are likely less windy but not as picturesque. There are also several sources of water, but no services are available. The internet connection is available but weak. Please remember to dispose of your trash properly as the place was clean when we visited.
