This is a beautiful place surrounded by greenery with plenty of parking spaces that are not too close to each other. It is free and perfectly acceptable.

A convenient location to visit Groningen is near the 'Transferium'. There are several buses that can take you to the city center. It is lively during the day but quiet at night. It is also a great starting point for walks and bike rides. Additionally, there is a water point at the end of the street, close to the sports park.

This is possibly the ONLY free camper area in the Netherlands. It offers ample space with a large parking area and plenty of greenery, located on the edge of a large park. There is a sports center and outdoor activities nearby. However, during our two-night stay, there was a party with loud music until after 1 am at the adjacent sports park (which they say was for the start of the school year). Please note that there are no facilities available, only parking.
