This place is located near a campsite that mainly accommodates permanent campers. It has good facilities, such as a pizzeria and a bread service. The pitches near the lake are particularly lively, with a playground and a bathing beach. However, keep in mind that the noise from the nearby A1 motorway can be heard.
We chose this place because we were excited about being able to park our camper van right by the lake. Despite some mixed reviews (3/5), we were pleasantly surprised by how clean and well-organized everything was. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and easygoing. The water in the lake was of exceptional quality and we enjoyed delicious meals at the small pizzeria.
Not free anymore! Paid 22€ for one night stay, plus 5€ fee for utilities. New owners want to make changes and unsure about future availability for motorhomes passing through. Otherwise, campground is satisfactory. Bathrooms relatively clean on Sunday evening. Positive aspects include the nearby lake and direct access to a pizzeria. Highway noise did not bother us at all.
