On the high grounds of Crolles village, there is a flat and paved area near the beginning of the path to the Crolles waterfall. This location offers a beautiful view of the valley. The road leading to this area becomes a short stony path that can be easily navigated by vans but is not suitable for motorhomes. There are two picnic areas available, one of which has a fountain. Additionally, there is access to the river just 50 meters away. This site is popular for starting various hiking trails and serves as a meeting place for locals. It is generally peaceful, although there may be visitors towards the end of the day.
