Great rest stop on the way up north. Peaceful and quiet. Just keep in mind that there are quite a few mosquitoes during the summer months.
Located by a serene lake, a tranquil spot awaits at the end of a stone-lined path. Though there is a slight noise from the nearby highway, it does not disrupt the peace significantly. If you enjoy fishing as a hobby, this place is sure to gratify you. As a courtesy to nature, kindly ensure the area is left clean before you leave.

What a place! It is located next to a small lake, and although you can hear the highway a bit and see a cow drinking from the lake across, there is nothing else - simply blissful! There were some locals around in the evening, but since it was already dark, I was already inside my camper, so no issues there. However, be aware of some large falling acorns during the autumn. Overall, it was a great spot for a one-night stay while passing through.
