The Laguna Tollón Bird Observatory has a convenient double car park called Mirador la Mina. It offers a lovely view, but please note there is a gentle slope at the top and a flat parking lot at the bottom. Both areas are gravelled and easy to access. Occasionally, you may hear some noise from the nearby AP4 motorway, but it is not bothersome. Let's all contribute to keeping this place clean.

We reached the nature reserve in time to witness a stunning sunset. Due to the season, the lake was dry and bird sightings were limited. However, the tranquility and the breathtaking view from the parking lot made up for it. We had a peaceful night and even saw a police car pass by without any issues. The next morning, my husband went for a refreshing 6K run on the tracks before we resumed our journey. There was no cellular service, allowing us to completely immerse ourselves in nature.
