We found a parking area to ensure we have a spot for our hike tomorrow. The paid parking at Puy Mary is full. This parking offers a great view and is close to the less crowded Puy Chavaroche for starting our hike.

It’s a nice spot to watch the sunset. We stayed there overnight on September 4 without any issues, but be cautious of traffic restrictions during peak season.

The location offers a great view and visitors can see seven vultures and a snake eagle. Only campers up to seven meters are allowed during the day due to crowds. There is some traffic during the day, but it’s not bothersome, and it's very quiet at night.
