There is a second road that goes out of the tunnel and leads to a quiet, flat gravel area. It is near electric cable lines and offers a nice view of the valley and the sea.

Great location! It is somewhat close to the road, but it didn't bother us. Remember to take your trash with you, including toilet paper and tissues.

The location is near the main road, providing easy access. It is quiet and slightly windy. It is only 10-15 minutes away from Höfn.
