This campsite is located conveniently on the Ruhr river and is easily accessible from a main road. The nearest S-Bahn stop is only around 1 km away, making it a cost-effective option for those visiting Essen. Please note, there is no disposal station available, but you can dispose of your chemistry toilet waste. Additionally, there is no electricity provided on site.

Beautiful natural camping site located next to the Ruhr/Kettwiger Reservoir, with no electricity. The operator kindly requests that visitors make a reservation by phone in advance. There are permanent pitches available in the front row, as well as lovely spots for campervans on a grassy field in the second row. The toilets are basic but clean, and there is a hot shower available for €2.50 with a key. Remember to bring a flashlight when going to the toilet at night.
