The area has a wide, smooth road for easy access. The terrain is flat and there are no obstructions. We found ourselves alone, nestled among mountains, in the heart of the plain. It was calm and peaceful, and getting there was convenient.

Visit the high plateau in Madeira where you can drive along a rocky track. You can park your car in various places on the field. It's best for smaller vehicles, and parking in a sheltered area helps you enjoy a lovely sunset. Expect many rocks along the way.
