There is a sign for "Kanzlers Weide" in the village. The parking area is located by the Weser river, away from the town. It is a spacious lot suitable for trucks, buses, and mobile homes. The surface is mostly flat with gravel and some areas are paved. There are some trees for shade and the area has lighting and satellite TV reception. However, there are only a few electrical outlets available. On the square, there is a snack bar and public restrooms. Please note that the parking area is closed during major events.

The parking area is satisfactory. The front section of the parking spaces is covered with grass pavers, while the back section is covered with gravel. The front section is almost entirely filled with parked cars, even though there are plenty of parking spaces available. During the day, the back section is used as a training ground for truck driving schools, and in the evenings, it is used by teenagers for "skid training."
