This location is a pleasant and quiet spot near a river and the town, which is about a 20-minute walk along the river path. It is a beautiful area with flat terrain and plenty of shaded areas provided by trees. Although there are no services available, the 4G connection is decent. It is evident that locals use this place for camping and fishing, as there are signs of their activities such as fire pits and trash. During the mornings and afternoons, people walking their dogs and local fishermen or shepherds with their sheep (accompanied by friendly, yet protective, dogs) may pass by. It might be busier on weekends. The access road is a dirt road and can be quite bumpy. Any size van can manage the road, as high ground clearance is not necessary, but the last 25 meters are not suitable for motorhomes. Furthermore, those with large vans might find it uncomfortable to descend the short off-camber hill to reach the river and could potentially struggle to climb back up. It is advisable to avoid visiting after rain when the ground is muddy, unless you have a 4WD or all-terrain tires. In winter, with snow, it may not be the wisest choice to visit this place. The area has dense tree growth and low-hanging branches, so taller vehicles should avoid this spot if they do not want to risk scratching their vehicle. I was able to pass through with an L2H2 Sprinter van, but scratches were not a concern for me. Maneuvering space is limited, so if you are not comfortable with turning your vehicle around in a tight space next to a one-meter drop to the river, this place may not be suitable for you. Smaller vans should not have any difficulty with this. To reach this location, take the dirt road that branches off from the main road at the coordinates 45.4075779, 22.2106356, just after the bridge. Follow the dirt track until you reach the coordinates 45.4017917, 22.2159601, then turn left and drive next to the field. Finally, you will need to take a sharp right turn. It may be challenging for a 6-meter van to make this turn, so I suggest turning left, making a U-turn, and approaching the turn from the opposite direction. Enjoy your visit to this location, and remember to keep it clean. It only takes a few minutes to take your trash with you, and if we all contribute, we can maintain these wonderful spots in the way we would like to find them.
This peaceful and beautiful place is perfect for fishing and shepherding. The locals are friendly. Though there are some litter, it's not excessive. Just be cautious with Google Maps as it may direct you to the wrong side of the river. Many thanks to the person who discovered this spot, as it suits us well.
