This parking lot is very peaceful and only a short 5-minute walk away from an incredibly stunning beach. I would advise against driving directly to the beach because the road is steep and not suitable for RVs. Instead, it takes about 10 minutes to reach the parking lot via a gravel road from the main street. The beach facilities, including the toilets and changing rooms, are well-maintained and offer a pleasant experience. Please keep in mind to leave enough space for the locals when parking.
To find the beach, go to 114 Ojajoentie and turn left in the northwest direction when you see the sign for 'Uimaranta.' Avoid using Google Maps as it may lead you to a restricted private road. The beach offers amenities such as toilets, a grill house with available firewood, a swimming pier, and a 1.4 km and 1 km hiking trail that is marked on the terrain. You can use the online map provided by the Finnish government by searching for 'retkikartta' on Google.
There is a great bathing spot with facilities such as a grill house and changing rooms. However, please note that parking and camping are only allowed at the parking area located 150m above. It is strictly prohibited to park or camp at the lower area.
