This place offers a peaceful and calm environment with easy accessibility. It is not crowded, making it a pleasant spot to visit on September 11, 2020.
Lovely place, during the off-peak season on weekdays the beach is nearly empty. There's a good seafood restaurant and a nice beach bar next door. The beach is very clean and there is police patrol. Access is via a 6 km solid sand track with some deep holes. Towards the north behind the seafood restaurant, the sand gets very soft and many people have gotten stuck here. During the day, there are many horseflies, and in the evening/night, there are many mosquitoes.
The access road is very bumpy and there are no official parking spaces. There were daily checks in August and we were even removed from the side of the beach. We couldn't register through the website because it was only in Romanian and the translation wasn't helpful. It didn't matter if we were registered or not, as everyone had to leave. We got stuck and had to dig ourselves out and get towed since everything was sandy.
