A clean and quiet place for a pleasant night. Some noise from the wind turbines, but not bothersome. Water, barbecue, tables, and decent toilets available. Recommended.

Enjoy a peaceful picnic in the beautiful natural surroundings at the top of the hill, where you can also camp overnight. The stunning view is enhanced by the chapel Nossa Senhora de Ao Pé da Cruz, located at an elevation of 875m. Access might be a bit challenging due to the slope, but there are spaces available under and around trees. From here, you can soak in the breathtaking landscapes, especially towards the northwest where you can see the small town of Sernancelhe and the Vilar dam. Remember not to stay longer than 12 hours, and if you're up for some hiking, check out the "Rota da Castanha e do Castanheiro" trail.
