Polanka is a parking lot near Chocholowska Glade that offers a beautiful view of the mountains. It provides electricity for campers and has toilet facilities. The daily fee is 40 PLN, while the rate with electricity is 60 PLN (prices from 24.06.2023). The glade features a stream and a designated area for bonfires. Just a short 5-minute walk away is the Dunajec River with a beach, which can get crowded with campers and cars during the season. It serves as a great starting point for exploring mountain trails. We had a peaceful night there.
This place is really nice and has great potential as a camper park. There are still electricity poles (for connection), water, a waste dump, and toilets available. However, it seems to function more as a parking area at the moment. We stayed here overnight and it was really peaceful and quiet. We will definitely come back. From this location, you can also easily venture into the mountains and visit the nearby Chochołowskie Thermal Baths.
This is a beautiful location and a great starting point for hiking and mountain biking. The toilets could be cleaner, but they are usable. The shower containers seem to be locked though. The price has gone up since June and it is quite high: 80 Zloty per night (including electricity 100 Zloty). If you arrive late, you can pay the next day when the guard arrives (parking lot for hikers).
