There is a nice parking area near a beautiful lake where you can enjoy a 9km hike around it. I hardly noticed the nearby road.

There is a parking lot at the Mönchsteich in the forest, which is located near a residential house. This adds to the overall safety of the parking area. The location is well-maintained and offers opportunities for hiking around the large pond.

The location is close to a road that can be heard, but it is not busy at night. However, it gets quite busy with traffic from early morning. Otherwise, it is a peaceful hiking parking area with few visitors in mid-July. We had a good night's sleep. There is a trash bin available, but no other facilities. There is a beautiful trail along a small lake.
