The campsite will be closed in 2023 and will reopen in May 2024. It is a small campsite with only 10 parking spaces, situated in a peaceful location on the outskirts of Winklern, a market town in Hohe Tauern National Park. If you enjoy tranquility and outdoor activities, this is the perfect place for you. The Mölltal area and nearby Lienz valley offer a wide range of sports and leisure opportunities. The campsite is located next to the Mölltal cycle path R8, making it a convenient starting point for hikes. It is also just a 10-minute walk from the town center, where you can find supermarkets, a bakery, restaurants, an outdoor swimming pool, and a daily open national park information point.

This location is stunning and the owners are welcoming. The cost for staying one night with one van and two people is €19.60. Showers are available for only €1, and each block has two showers. However, we couldn't find a place to empty the portable toilet water.
