An organic goat farm has accommodations available for guests. During our stay, we had the opportunity to use the washing machine for a fee of NOK 200. Guests can also participate in farm activities. To secure a spot, contact Bente, the owner, in advance. Please note that there are currently no goats or horses on the farm. However, there are plenty of hiking trails and great conditions for skiing and snowboarding in the winter. The farm is located in a quiet and remote area.
The owner's son warmly greeted us and made an effort to assist with the online payment of 300 krona (as we had no cash). However, overall the place seemed rundown and the bathroom facilities (toilet, shower, washing machine) were not properly clean. On top of that, we could only have taken a cold shower in the morning.
Great welcome. The region is definitely worth a visit: Bente will give you many tips. Plus, with the shower, toilet, and washing machine, it's a great option for a nice stopover when you're in a van.
