Roligheden Camping is conveniently situated by the harbor, just 2 km away from the city center. We offer updated restroom facilities, newly furnished rooms, and facilities for cooking and washing dishes. Whether you prefer camping or traveling in an RV, our reasonably priced campsite is a pleasant choice.
The campground was overall satisfactory, but it lacks greywater disposal facilities and the price is quite high. It was the most expensive stay for two people in a caravan with electricity that I've ever had in Norway. The price of €50 included two 6-minute showers. Nonetheless, it serves as a convenient starting point to explore the city before crossing over to Denmark.
The service offered is considered overpriced and not worth the cost. It is seen as taking advantage of the location near the ferry. It is recommended to drive a few kilometers further instead of supporting such high prices. It is unfortunate that there is still no affordable parking option for ferry passengers after all these years. I decided to continue driving.
