Camping Fusina is a year-round campsite with a beautiful view of the Venice lagoon. You can easily reach the historic center of Venice in just 20 minutes by motorboat from the hotel. In the summer, there is also a motorboat connection to the beaches of lido degli Alberoni. The campsite offers amenities such as a swimming pool, restaurant, pizzeria, bar, mini market (seasonal), and laundry facilities. Additional services like Camper Service, WiFi, and electricity are provided for free.
This campsite offers easy access and various services. The staff is welcoming and provides useful information in French, including how to get to Venice by Vaporetto. However, the closing time in the evening is too early and it's not possible to stay in Venice at night. The camping spots are located on grass, offering a view of Venice and the maritime traffic. It's important to bring mosquito repellent.
The facilities are clean and well-maintained. However, the original 1950s toilets, though they were uniquely designed, appear to be in poor condition. The presence of mosquitoes was a concern as we were all bitten numerous times. On a positive note, the view of Venice is breathtaking and the location is convenient for those who wish to visit the city.
