Hindenburgbrücke Campsite offers a unique power connection setup. The campsite accommodates long-term campers, although the spaces may be narrow. Some spaces are situated right by the Rhine, offering a scenic view. The chip shop provides affordable options. The sanitary facilities have recently undergone renovations.
The place's best days are behind it. The restroom facilities are dirty and broken. You have to pay extra for a shower, which is quite high at 23.50€ per night. The garbage is stored right by the camping spot, with piles of bottles accumulating. We were given a dirty spot in an area designated for old caravans and machinery. We won't be coming back here.
Spend the night stopover at this location with average service. You will be assigned a spot without the option to choose. The spaces are tightly packed, similar to a camper van area. Putting a groundsheet is not allowed. If you are at the front near the Rhine, expect some noise from people and trains passing by day and night. The cost in early May for a camper van and two people is €23.50, with an additional charge for showers.
