There is free parking available on the grass near a place called the refuge Free Inn Zagori. It's a peaceful area where you might see horses or cows. However, avoid driving on the grass when it's raining.
The host was great at a beautiful location. We stayed for two nights and made a donation despite it being free. We recommend visiting for hiking tips and a nearby waterfall 7 km away. If coming from Meteora, avoid the direct route as it leads to rough terrain.
This place is wonderful! The owner is friendly and gives great advice. The atmosphere is relaxing and the view is fantastic. Staying overnight with bathroom access costs 10 euros per night.
