Located in Middleton St. George, The Old Farmhouse has a rich history that dates back over 250 years. Originally an inn known as The Wheatsheaf, it was later converted into a farmhouse by a retired sea captain before being transformed back into a pub in the 1980s. Today, this charming country pub offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, serving a delicious selection of hearty pub food, accompanied by a range of cask ales and fine wines. Whether you're looking for a meal with friends or a relaxed Sunday lunch with family, you can easily book a table online and enjoy some quality time with your loved ones. Additionally, The Old Farmhouse offers a vegan menu six days a week, ensuring there's something for everyone to enjoy. If you're looking to make a day of it, you can also visit the nearby Stockton and Darlington Railway, the world's first public railway, or explore the fascinating museum located just a short distance away. Durham Tees Valley Airport, which was previously known as RAF Middleton St. George, is also conveniently close by.

The location has friendly people and a spacious car park. We chose to park towards the back, away from the road. It is a highly recommended destination.
