The sanitary facilities are of good quality and operate on a card system for hot water. This system is also utilized in other locations, like Blokzijl. There is a marina available for boat and canoe trips in the nearby nature reserve called De Weerribben. The cost for a night's stay is around €35, including reservation fees.
