This small parking spot is located on a quiet road near an old mill. While the road can be busy during rush hour, it is peaceful overnight. It is a convenient location, as it is a short walk or bike ride away from "the Marriotts Way," a scenic trail that leads directly to downtown Norwich.
The place is visually appealing, but unfortunately, it is heavily littered with trash on the ground. This could be due to the fact that we visited in August when teenagers were gathering here to swim in the dam. It is possible that during winter, the place might be less littered.
Available campsite with space for one camper. Located near a road with moderate traffic and a nearby river. Please exercise caution when descending the slightly slippery slope to reach the riverbank, which may be muddy.
