The road from Allihies to the copper mine is good for small campers. It features scenic views of the bay and colorful houses, especially when the fog lifts. Please note that there are no services available along this route.

There is a great view of the peninsula. It is a good spot for vans, with sheep around in the morning.

We used a 4x4 vehicle to drive almost to the entrance of the mine. The view was breathtaking.
