The location is excellent, just as others have described. Don't let the poor condition of the road when turning off the main street confuse you. It improves after 400 meters.

There is a stunning, expansive plain located by a river that makes for a wonderful stopover on the journey to Mestia. Although it requires taking a slight detour through a road that may not be in the best condition, it is still manageable by bus. If you continue a bit further, you will come across a factory, where there is a gravel path that leads to a grassy area. From there, you can enjoy a lovely view of the mountains that surround the plain.
