Amazing place to stay on Mount Etna. We spent the night of December 26th and it was spectacular. Unfortunately, there is some litter in certain areas, but with a little search, you can find a clean spot to stay.

There is a rustic path that leads to a picturesque area with trees and volcanic stones. The sight of Mount Etna is truly stunning. During the summer, you can find shade under the trees, while in winter, you can bask in the sun. The friendly farmer passed by a few times, offering us a warm greeting. Remember to keep the area clean and dispose of any waste properly.

This place offers a stunning view, but the road is difficult to navigate due to protruding rocks. We touched the ground on our way in and out. The campground is located at an altitude of over 1000 meters, and in late May, it was quite cold in the evenings. However, this might be advantageous during summer. Along the way, there are a few smaller spots for overnight stays. A warning sign about venomous snakes (vipers) is also present.
